1993 – Master's degree in Polish Philology obtained at the University of Łódź based on the thesis "Word Formation of Nouns in the Dialect of Krzyżanów near Piotrków Trybunalski."

2005 – Doctorate in Humanities in the field of Linguistics awarded by the resolution of the Faculty of Philology Council at the University of Łódź based on the dissertation "Word Formation Structure of Nouns in the Dialects of Krzyżanów, Rękoraj, and Tomawa near Piotrków Trybunalski."

From September 1993 to 1995, employed at the University of Łódź in the Department of Preschool and Early School Pedagogy at the Faculty of Educational Sciences.

Since 1996, employed at the University of Łódź in the Department of Didactics of Polish Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology.

From 1995 to 1999, employed at Primary School No. 40 as a Polish language teacher and educator.

Member of the Łódź Scientific Society and the Dialectological Commission of the Linguistics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

At the University of Łódź, in the Faculty of Philology, I conduct didactic classes aimed at preparing students specializing in teaching to work in schools at all educational levels. During the first-cycle studies, students acquire the knowledge necessary to work in primary schools, while second-cycle students complement this knowledge with information and competencies enabling them to work in secondary schools. The exercises cover language skills training, literary education, and the contexts of Polish language education. Knowledge is verified during mid-year and continuous internships in cooperation with educational institutions.

In preparing students for the profession, my activities mainly focus on:

a) improving language competencies,

b) the place and role of linguistic knowledge in Polish language education,

c) introducing and refining forms of expression at all levels of education,

d) the place and role of dialectology in Polish language didactics,

e) issues of humanistic education from an anthropocentric perspective: history/theory/design/practice in primary and secondary schools (including the study of curricula, textbooks, program documents, and methodological publications in terms of the didactic strategies used),

f) diagnosing, analysing, and describing phenomena affecting the process of cultural-literary education, with particular emphasis on research on the place, role, and reception of cultural texts in schools and didactic strategies for organizing student dialogue with cultural tradition in Polish language lessons,

g) interpreting works of art and literature; a painting/literary work as the main text and as a context in humanistic education,

h) education through and for art,

i) theatre education.

The knowledge introduced during classes is expanded and refined not only during the school internships under my supervision but also through additional activities, including cooperation with the Bałucki Cultural Center "RONDO" in Łódź (cooperation coordinator). Since 2010, I have participated in the annual National Reviews of Children's and Youth Theatres "Dziatwa," during which our specialization students, as well as speech therapy students, participated in and conducted workshop classes on theatre education as part of the occupational therapy workshops I conduct in this field. Speech therapy students learned about the possibilities of using theatre strategies in speech therapy. We also participated in proposed presentations and scientific readings thematically related to the leading themes of the reviews. We co-organized meetings promoting knowledge about the regions of Poland, the region/local environment among the local community - participation in the regional education project from May to November 2017 "The Worlds of Bałuty - In Search of Identity" (project co-financed by the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw as part of the Patriotism of Tomorrow 2017 program). This multi-element, interdisciplinary educational project was implemented in the urban space of the Bałuty district. It consisted of many attractive events aimed at children, youth, adults and seniors, including the street game "Discover Bałuty," a series of photographic walks "City Objectively," meetings with the urban folklore of Łódź, and a series of meetings "History of Bałuty Tenements." My goal is primarily to encourage future teachers to undertake activities within regional education and to cooperate with the local community by learning about its history, lifestyle, and needs of representatives of different generations. This is also intended to contribute to conscious and responsible didactic conduct within education for and towards old age.
