Bio
A graduate of
Polish philology at the University of Lodz. She obtained her doctoral degree in
1999 on the basis of the dissertation "Expressiveness of headlines"
in "Gazeta Wyborcza". The topic of my habilitation thesis, published
in 2012, was the Strategies of journalists and their interlocutors in public
media discourse. As an academic teacher, he works at the Faculty of Philology,
conducting classes in Polish philology, speech therapy and journalism.
Interests
My scientific
interests focus on issues such as: scientific terminology, in particular
biological terminology, functions of language, linguistic comedy, specificity
and functioning of proper names, media communication, genres of public debate,
rules of public discourse, argumentation techniques, shaping communicative
competence, psycholinguistic conditions of teaching a second language.
Additionally, I am interested in cognitive-behavioral psychology and
neuropsychology.

Membership in scientific societies, participation in editorial boards of scientific journals, reviewing publications, including achievements in promotion procedures, promoting doctors. Cooperation with domestic and foreign research centers.
