I conduct research and classes in two fields of study: spatial development and planning (undergraduate studies) and planning and organization of space (graduate studies). I carry out numerous organizational works and engage in popularizing the results of scientific research and promoting the Faculty of Geographical Sciences.

The Director's duties include:

- managing the Institute's work;

- ensuring the functioning and continuity of the Institute's work;

- representing the Institute externally;

- supporting research work in the discipline covered by the Institute's activities;

- organizing and supervising the teaching activities conducted by the Institute's employees;

- convening and managing meetings of the Institute's Council;

- submitting applications to the Faculty Council or the Dean, including applications concerning employment, other employee matters and awards for persons included in the Institute;

- managing the Institute's property and allocated financial resources;

- performing other tasks assigned by the Dean.
