My research proficiencies include the design synthesis and characterization of molecular, and nanomaterials and their application towards real-time sensing of protein, and molecular biomarkers in live cells; and electrocatalytic sensing of small biomolecules, drugs, and other toxic substrates from bio and ecological sources. Development of aromatic, silicon, and fluro-hydrocarbon monomer units for Electro-, UV, and oxidative polymerization for electronic and packaging applications. Synthesis and isolation of unknown impurities / degradation products / formulation impurities from drug substances and drug products. Synthesis and characterization of diarylideneacetone derivatives and functional group interconversion via chemical oxidation, reductions, and rearrangement reactions.
