Institute of Urban Geography, Tourism Studies and Geoinformation
As an Assistant Professor at the University of Lodz, I focus on applying deep learning (DL) in academic research and R&D projects. My work involves implementing advanced machine learning methods for geospatial data analysis and developing innovative technological solutions.
Currently, I am involved in two key projects:
Automatic detection of topographic changes based on satellite and aerial imagery.
Identification of illegal dumpsites using UAVs;
Additionally, I work on integrating multimodal data (vision and sound) and implementing embedded AI solutions to support biodiversity protection.
My goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and the needs of the academic community, ensuring practical applications of artificial intelligence.
