- 1985-1990, studies in Biology, Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences, University of Lodz (BNZ UL).
- 1990, obtaining a master's degree, specialization in physiology; thesis subject: "Attempts to obtain seedlings from somatic embryos of coniferous trees"; promoter: prof. dr hab. J. Stanisław Knypl.
- 1990, employment at the Laboratory of Plant Growth Regulators, BNZ UŁ as an assistant; teaching and research position.
- 1996-2000, doctoral studies these en co-tutelle at Laboratorie de Physiologie Végétale Appliqué, Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris VI, France), funded by the Individual Scholarship of the Government of the French Republic.
- 2000, obtaining the degrees: Doctor of the University of Peter and Maria Curie in Paris and Doctor of Biological Sciences of the University of Lodz; thesis subject: "Physiological, metabolic and cellular factors related to chilling injury in soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.)" seeds and seedlings, dissertation written in English: "Physiological, metabolic and cellular events related to chilling injury in soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.) seeds and seedlings'; promoters: Prof. dr hab. Krystyna M. Janas (UŁ - Poland) and Prof. Daniel Côme (UPMC - France).
- 2000, appointed assistant professor at the Department of Plant Growth Regulation, Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, University of Lodz (BiOŚ UL).
- 2010, habilitation colloquium and conferring the degree of Doctor Habilitated, field of Science, biological, discipline Biology, specialty Plant Physiology; the subject of the achievement: "Biostimulators - a strategy conducive to the functioning of plants under abiotic stress conditions”.
