I am a graduate of Polish philology at the University of Lodz (1992). For more than 30 years I was a journalist for “Dziennik Łódzki” and “Express Illustrated” (Polska Press Group) in Lodz. I worked in practically all editorial positions, most recently (until May 2021) as editor-in-chief of “DŁ” and “EI” and the online services of these newspapers. I carried out major editorial, marketing and sales projects in the Lodz branch of PPG and other branches of the group throughout Poland. I graduated from the Polskapresse Academy of Trainers. For years (until 2020) I worked as a juror in national journalism competitions - Grand Press and SGL Local Press, and in 2021 as a juror in the Reporters' Book of the Year competition. I participated as a mentor in the Mentoring Project of the University of Lodz.

I am passionate about everything in the media - new and traditional. I read compulsively - mainly non-fiction and fiction: contemporary and classics. Whenever I can, I hike in the mountains (I am a Beskid guide). I love cycling (I don't have a car). I smoke a pipe.
