Marzena Karwowska , associate professor (Institute of Polish Philology, University of Lodz, a field of science: literature). Her current research activity focuses on anthropology of creative imagination and myth-criticism. The most crucial effect of her studies on the anthropology and myth-criticism are monographs: Mitokrytyka w badaniach literackich(2024); Świadomość rodząca obrazy. Studia z antropologii literatury (2020); Antropologia wyobraźni twórczej w badaniach literackich. Świat wyobrażony Brunona Schulza ( 2015); Symbole Apokalipsy. Studia z antropologii wyobraźni ( 2011); Prapamięć uśpiona. Świat wyobrażeń Bolesława Leśmiana ( 2008). She realized scientific traineeships at the foreign centers specializing in literary studies on creative imagination and myth-criticism: at the Centre de Recherche sur l’Imaginaire established by Gilbert Durand ( the Stendhal University in Grenoble, France) and atParis IV Sorbonne University. Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal “Prace Polonistyczne” (“Studies in Polish Literature”).
