Job Description

Teaching duties

  • Teaching of full-time, part-time and postgraduate courses, including teaching with distance learning methods and techniques; list of subjects taught: Financial instruments in financial management, Decision Making, Advanced financial accounting, Strategic management accounting, Financial management, Accounting policy
  • timely preparation of the documentation of the course of study applicable to academic teachers;
  • participating in the development and updating of curricula and teaching schedules;
  • conducting examinations and credits, including diploma examinations;
  • supervising students' credit and term papers;
  • conducting and reviewing diploma theses;
  • educating academic staff and taking care of their development as an assistant promoter;
  • developing didactic materials for conducted classes;
  • consultations with students;
  • raising own professional qualifications in the field of teaching;
  • taking care of the high quality of education and compliance of the didactic work with the principles of the internal educational quality assurance system;
  • performing other teaching duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Research duties

  • conducting and participating in scientific research and development work;
  • obtaining funds for scientific research by applying in competitions;
  • disseminating the results of scientific research or development work by publishing the results primarily in journals from the ministerial list of journals and monographs from the ministerial list of publishers (level I and II);
  • active participation in scientific conferences and seminars in accordance with the university's rules;
  • participation in the commercialization of research results (patents, protective rights, implementations);
  • improving one's own professional qualifications, including with a view to obtaining further degrees and academic titles.

Organizational responsibilities

  • work in the collegiate bodies of the university and in faculty, senate and rectoral committees;
  • work in competition, recruitment and examination committees;
  • organizing promotional and presentation actions of the university and participating in them;
  • organizing conferences, symposia, seminars and other academic activities;
  • performing functions assigned by superiors;
  • other organizational activities to improve the functioning of the university as well as the quality of education and research;
  • supporting the staff of the Faculty of Management in the field of distance learning;
  • other organizational duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Coordinator of the field of study: "Accounting and Financial Management" and coordinator of specializations in this course: "Accounting and financial reporting", "Management accounting / controlling", "Accounting with ACCA accreditation".

Coordinator of the field of study: "Management and Finance".
