I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Polish and World History after 1945, Institute of History, University of Lodz.
I am also the scientific secretary of the University of Lodz Research Center "The Balkans at the Turn of the 20th/21st Centuries," a member of the Disciplinary Committee for Students of the University of Lodz (from 2020), a member of the Board of the Lodz Branch of the Polish Historical Society, and a member of the Museum Council of the City of Pabianice (term 2025-2028).
From 2008 to 2010, I served as the chairman of the Board of the General Stefan Rowecki "Grot" Historical Club in Pabianice.
I am a graduate of history from the University of Lodz. In 2016, I received a Ph.D. in humanities in the field of history (specialization: modern general history; supervisor: dr hab. Paweł Chmielewski, prof. UŁ / dr hab. Albin Głowacki, prof. UŁ) from the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Lodz.
Zainteresowania
My scientific interests focus on the history of diplomacy and armed conflicts in the 20th and 21st centuries., as well as the contemporary history of the Balkans, with particular emphasis on Western policy towards the disintegration of Yugoslavia.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cycling, ice swimming, singing, cooking, listening to good music, and reading books.
