Biogram

Doctor of Social Sciences in Sociology (PhD, 2017). My dissertation dealt with formal and informal social relations between the media, the political and business spheres at the local level and what the consequences of these relations are for local communities.

The results of the PhD project were published in 2019 in the book 'Local press in relations with key social actors. Case studies' (Krakow/Łódź: Universitas/WUŁ, pp. 426). The book can be read in open access: wydawnictwo.uni.lodz.pl/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Mecfal_prasa_lokalna.pdf).
