The main fields of my research include contemporary anglophone fiction, poststructuralism, psychoanalysis in literary studies, and posthumanist studies, as well as contemporary film and cultural studies. I have published papers on such writers as Julian Barnes, Ian McEwan, Michel Faber, Kazuo Ishiguro, Salman Rushdie, Ali Smith and Jeanette Winterson. I am the author of Family and Relationships in Ian McEwan’s Fiction: Between Fantasy and Desire (Lexington Press, 2018). I edited a collection of essays Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition: Cultural Contexts In Monty Python (Rowman and Littlefield, 2014) and co-edited Reading Graham Swift (Lexington Press, 2019). I translated into Polish Homi K. Bhabha's The Location of Culture, as well as many other critical and literary texts, e.g. by Hayden White, Dipesh Chakrabarty and Margaret Atwood.
