During the scientific seminar, the team from the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz presented theoretical assumptions, results of previous research and research plans related to the project entitled "Generation Alpha/(Z)Alpha: Expectations and experiences from professional life." The research approach and results interested researchers from Belgium, who asked about methods of selecting respondents, issues related to translating research tools, built models and methods of analysis. During the seminar, our team also learned about the research interests of individual members of the Changing Workplace & Strategic HRM Team.
During less formal meetings, employees of the two universities exchanged research experiences, but also initiated talks on areas of future joint research. The trip also brought a number of added values. The University of Lodz employees got to know a slightly different workplace from ours, equipment of workstations, seminar rooms, etc. They also got familiar with the mode and forms of work of Belgian researchers and experienced the cultural diversity of Belgian students.
