HELLO!

Welcome to the Candidate's Zone! If you are already here, you probably want to get to know us better. Well, let’s start from the basics then. We are a young university – we were founded on May 24, 1945 in the heart of Poland. Despite such a young age (for a higher education institution) we belong to the largest universities in the country.

What makes us stand out? Creative approach to education, openness to everything that is new and not obvious, and bold striving for innovative solutions. All these things are possible thanks to our amazing community that consists of 26 000 students and PhD students and nearly 4 000 employees.
