- The Department's staff serve as experts at the Statistics Poland (GUS) and the Statistical Office in Lodz, and are members of governmental and non-governmental organizations.
- Cooperation with the CSO and the US in Lodz - jointly organized scientific conferences and statistical competitions: “Statistics around us”, “Statistics in careers”, “Statistical Olympiad”.
- Cooperation with scientific centers, especially with chairs of statistics, affiliated with almost all national universities and several foreign universities (Italy: University of Milan-Bicocca, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli; Germany: University of Hagen).
- Cooperation with leading international organizations dealing with public statistics:
- Eurostat - within the framework of the international project EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics),
- European Commission- UN Global Group on Big Data and UN Task Team on Scanner Data.
