The Research Center for European Spatial Policy and Local Development aims to integrate activities across various academic disciplines related to spatial research conducted at the local scale, while also fostering collaboration with local communities on local development issues. The Center's activities include organizing research and scientific conferences, developing partnerships with local governments, and publishing works focused on local and regional issues. With the involvement of the Research Center for European Spatial Policy and Local Development at the University of Łódź (and contributions from scholars in geography, history, and biology), subsequent volumes of the Biuletyn Szadkowski and Biuletyn Uniejowski are published. These annual publications feature articles from various fields of knowledge, including history, geography, economics, ethnography, biology, and environmental protection, all dedicated to local and regional topics.
