University of Lodz - Ruhr University Bochum Double-degree Programme
New double-degree programme with Ruhr University Bochum as part of the "We are UNIC" project
The Faculty of Philology will be offering a double-degree diploma in English Studies to MA students of the University of Lodz.
The arrangement is that Uni Lodz students must spend one semester (third semester of studies) in Bochum and write the MA thesis under joint supervision from the two institutions.
Credits earned in Bochum will allow to pass the third semester of studies at Uni Lodz. At RUB, Uni Lodz students will be asked to choose courses aligned with their selected literature or linguistics fields of research.
What we offer
University of Lodz will award 5 scholarships for students to take part in the programme at Ruth University Bochum.
The scholarship covers:
- travel: 1500 PLN/lump sum
- subsistence 6000 PLN/month
- scholarship 75 PLN/day
Recruitment
The recruitment process consists of two stages.
First stage - fill in the Application Form.
The application form must be enclosed with the required annexes:

- Cover letter
Deadline for submissions: 15th April 2025, until 3 p.m. CET
Second stage of recruitment involves a qualification interview and will take into account your grade-point average.
