As part of the project, the Ceranuem Centre – the Waldemar Ceran Research Centre for the History and Culture of the Mediterranean Area and South-East Europe will carry out a series of visits by outstanding Slavic and Byzantinological scholars to the University of Lodz.
Visits by outstanding scholars are an excellent opportunity to raise the level of research by academic staff and student teaching. Ceraneum is a leading centre for research on the culture and history of the Mediterranean in Poland. As part of the project, the Ceraneum Centre at the University of Lodz has invited six scholars dealing with the history of this region and related issues, who will present the results of their research during a series of meetings. The lectures are open and addressed to specialists, students, and the general public.
