Volume five of the series entitled "Łódź poprzez wieki. Rozmowy jak przy kawie" [Lodz through the Ages. Conversations like Over Coffee] is a discussion of contemporary and historical topics. We will read, among other things, about urban legends, film Lodz, the city of the Revolution of 1905, and Lodz industrialists.What other topics did the authors of the publication deal with? You will find out during the official premiere.

The meeting will be led by Mariusz Goss, the editor of the fifth volume of the monograph.
"Łódź poprzez wieki. Historia miasta" [Lodz Through the Ages. History of the City] is a unique series of publications by the University of Lodz and the City of Lodz Office carried out on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the city which fell in 2023. Over a hundred people have worked on it, including specialists from various disciplines (history, art history, archaeology, ethnology, literary studies and linguistics). The previous volumes discussed historical, social and economic aspects influencing the development of the urban fabric which are presented in chronological order.
The publications are accompanied by a series of podcasts in which the interlocutors are the authors of the monograph's articles.
