Didactics:

- lectures/exercises for the following subjects: statistics, representative method, small area statistics, survey design and data collection methods, public statistics- national and international regulations, Statistics, Statistics for Business, Statistical Methods for Management.

- MA and PhD seminar.

 Research work in: statistical analysis of income distributions, study of inequality, poverty and social exclusion, small area statistics.

I head the Department of Statistical Methods, which conducts extensive research in statistical methods and their applications in the social sciences.

I chair the Organizing Committee of the international scientific conference Multivariate Statistical Analysis MSA, which is organized annually in cooperation with the Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Polish Statistical Society (PTS).

I coordinate cooperation with Eurostat within the EMOS (European Master in Offiial Statistics) project.
