Support and Accessibility Centre
  • Providing individual psychological consultations for students and doctoral students with special needs.
  • Diagnosing the needs of people with disabilities and other special needs, in terms of adapting the appropriate type of educational support.
  • Preparing (diagnosis + recommendations) opinions on the adaptation of the didactic process to the needs resulting from the student's disability.
  • Preparing and conducting psychological and psycho-educational workshops/trainings for the academic community of the University of Łódź.
  • Conducting activities to increase the accessibility of higher education for people with disabilities, difficulties and other special needs in studying.
  • Participating in the delivery of events, training, conferences and other professional development activities.
  • Participating in training, workshops, conferences and other activities in support of people with disabilities, difficulties and other special needs.
  • Engaging the community of students with disabilities in activities that integrate them into the wider academic community.
  • Liaising with the University of Lodz Rector's Plenipotentiary for Persons with Disabilities and the Rector's Plenipotentiary for Addictions.
  • Cooperation with the units of the University of Łódź in providing support for students with disabilities, difficulties and special needs related to studying.
  • To carry out other activities related to the activities of the Support and Accessibility Centre.
