Overall Project Goal
Supporting active social inclusion by promoting equal opportunities, counteracting discrimination and active participation by raising knowledge and awareness of non-discrimination and diversity management, as well as supporting people experiencing unequal treatment.
Detailed project objectives
- Increasing the awareness and knowledge of employees of the University of Lodz about anti-discrimination regulations and policies – with particular emphasis on internal university procedures, such as the anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing procedure.
- Building a sense of security and trust in the University of Lodz community – both within teams and towards the institution – through education and support in areas related to anti-mobbing and anti-discrimination activities at the university.
- Supporting employees of the University of Lodz who experience discrimination/mobbing – by implementing a comprehensive assistance system, including mediation, organisational and psychological support. The aim is to provide real help to people affected by these problems and to create safe conditions for reporting and resolving them.
Target group
Employees of the University of Lodz: teaching staff, research and teaching staff, research staff and administration staff.
Tasks carried out within the project
- Workshops and training on non-discrimination and diversity management.
- Training to raise awareness of anti-discrimination regulations and policies.
- Social campaign for equal treatment "UniLodz Unified”
- Specialist counselling (psychological, organisational) for people directly experiencing discrimination.
