It represents 698,000 members, students and engaged professionals in public and management accounting and advocates for the public interest and business sustainability on current and emerging issues.
With broad reach, rigor and resources, the Association advances the reputation, employability and quality of CGMA designation holders and accounting and finance professionals globally.
AICPA & CIMA is partnering with the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz to create the CGMA University Program. Students can advance their studies by gaining professional qualification in management accounting for a competitive edge in the job market.
The CGMA University Program is implemented through selected courses at the Faculty of Management. It enables you to start studying the CGMA qualification as part of your degree, whether you are a full-time or part-time student. Students who complete all required courses are exempt from specific CGMA exams, and after passing the final external exam, they can complete one of the following CGMA levels:
Certificate Level — receive a CGMA Certificate in Business Accounting and the part-qualified designatory letters ‘CGMA Cert BA’ upon learning about financial aspects of business, the relationship between specific areas of accounting and the needs of modern business.
Operational Level — receive a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting and the part-qualified designatory letters ‘CIMA Dip MA’ after passing this level with in-demand and applicable business skills. Topics include preparing financial statements, relevant information for management accounting and how to use appropriate decision-making tools using extensive knowledge about the functioning of a company.
The CGMA University Program admissions take place throughout October. Advance your career and learning by following these easy steps:
