Centre for Security Technologies in Logistics

Centre for Security Technologies in Logistics is functioning at the Management Faculty of University of Lodz since the first of October  2016.

Our goal: to conduct scientific research and cooperation with business practice in Security technology in logistics.

Main areas of CSTL activities are:

• developing solutions that increase the level of security in logistics, with particular emphasis on new technologies
• developing solutions that increase energy security in logistics
• cooperation with local governments, services aimed at maintaining security, companies providing technologies aimed at ensuring the security, transport companies, associations of companies and research institutions at home and abroad
• preparing and analysing maps of road safety in the city of Lodz and Lodz region
• analysis of the causes of accidents and collisions in the Lodz region, with special emphasis on logistics

CSTL ongoing research:

• Analysis of the causes of accidents and collisions at the most dangerous intersections in Lodz
• Map of road safety in city of Lodz
• Map of accidents at intersections in the city of Lodz in years 2013, 2014 and 2015
