BIP - Blended Intensive Programmes

About the programme

Among many options of the Erasmus+ programme, you can take part in BIPs – Blended Intensive Programmes

Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a short, intensive educational programme combining physical and virtual mobility, facilitating teamwork and the exchange of experiences. It is intended for students, doctoral school participants, and academic or administrative staff. BIPs should provide added value compared to existing programmes or courses by incorporating specialized content that is not taught or offered within standard curricula. They should feature an innovative approach to teaching, including transnational online collaboration.

  • Physical mobility – traveling abroad to the host institution's country to participate in the agreed BIP programme. The duration of the stay can range from 5 to 30 days, excluding travel time.
  • Virtual (remote) mobility – the execution of the BIP virtual programme remotely, exclusively outside the host institution's country, allowing for teamwork and exchange of experiences through e-learning. The duration of the virtual component is unspecified.

At The University of Lodz, BIPs are implemented in which the university participates both as a partner and as an organizer.

If you wish to learn more about Erasmus+ BIP, please contact your Faculty Coordinator, who will provide you with mobility updates for your study programme.

You can find enrolment and scholarship rules in the following file:

If the Coordinator chooses you for participation, you will be asked to fill out the BIP application form:
