The mission of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz is to build scientific and didactic excellence at the national and international level, preparing for service in a democratic state governed by the rule of law, educating in the spirit of the highest ethical values, as well as undertaking all other activities serving the development of science and society.
The mission of the Faculty is realized through:
ensuring freedom of scientific research and creating favorable conditions for the development of individual scientific interests,
conducting basic and applied research serving the development of science, socio-economic development, as well as undertaking activities serving the development of the city, region, and country,
educating, training, and professional development of specialized personnel for the three sectors of the economy,
ensuring high quality of education,
creating conditions conducive to the unity of science, teaching, and education,
developing a modern academic staff,
fostering socially responsible, open, and development-oriented attitudes in the academic community,
strengthening cooperation ties between members of the academic community, i.e., representatives of science and teaching, doctoral students, students, alumni, and practitioners,
openness to cooperation, exchange of experiences, and developing joint ventures with institutions from other countries.
